Why I'm Insane

Total living time available:              26 hours/week

Time committed:
    Blogging/Social Networking      10 hours/week
    Extropia Director Work                8 hours/week
    Family                                               8 hours/week
Salon (PR, event, afterparty)      6 hours/week
    Special Events                               5 hours/week
Extropia Acting Node Work        4 hours/week
    Friends                                             4 hours/week
    Fun (shopping, exploring)            2 hours/week
TOTAL                                                51 hours/week

And that's terribly shorting my family (but, since their weeks look like this too, in practice we can be lucky to take *that* much time!) and running way over budget on my work as Director, Marketing & External Relations in this critical startup time.

It's not like I can borrow from the Other Personality, either - their weeks look like mine, 'cept I'm a bit *better* at not over-committing!

AAAAAAaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!

Anybody have any good temporal compression algorithms to share?

Fuse the afterparty with the family time.

Work toghether, even if they are different proyects; a random phrase or hug from time to time is worth ages.

Reduce your blogging time, since it eats a LOT. Again, don't you dare to use it to raise your workload. It is family time.

Don't spend your little free time posting comments on other people's blog unless you need to (and them, make them a post, instead); it takes a lot of time and we will understand you are busy.

Blogs lose traffic when you don't post often or posts are puff pieces; I dropped mine, but you need yours to keep your readers informed about Extropia. I whould dare to suggest to invite your family and friends to post here, since they are also too busy to keep their blogs working.

Friends/fun and exploring should go in the same tab; exploring/shopping is funnier with a friend :-)

Never leave your work mess with your intimate moments; activate your busy mode if it is necesary and refrain from reading IM tabs. It takes hours for a wonderfull moment to build, and seconds to spoil it. I know, I am pretty good at spoiling them.

Keep breathing and thing everything will be easier with time; even if it is a lie, it does wonders :-p.

*thank you,* London! This is great advice - and just soothing words from someone who knows what it's like means a lot to me!

Don't worry too much about typos or semantic twists when commenting. You are in a hurry, remember? *sticks her tongue out and sends you a hug*

Hey! I was good! When that list didn't display properly (though it did in the preview window) I *didn't* take another 15 minutes to reformat it into a table!

....it's progress.... :P

I find you can get much the same effect with a temporal inversion algorithm. Remind me last week and I'll give you the code...

Well, duh, Mom...just run multiple instances of yourself and sync them up after you're done with work. It's not illegal, it just costs a lot of server credits. I'd do it myself for schoolwork, but my allowance isn't big enough. *nudge nudge*

Hey, miss FutureSmartyPants - that's great for my genetically engineered and upgradeable daughter!

But you forget I'm running on Human1.0 wetware - I can do software tweaks, but the hardware's a fixed configuration.

Bad enough OP and I are running on the same processor - more instances of me, and the wetware would overheat.... and without cooling fans, that whole "smoke pouring out the ears" thing? Distracting!!

Thanks for helping out, though, sweetie, and *know* I'll always have time for you!
